Sole Point Podiatry works with aged care homes and facilities across Sydney to deliver reliable, on site foot care for residents. Regular visits, consistent clinicians, and less admin for your staff.
Residents in aged care often have complex foot health needs, and coordinating outside providers adds to the load on care staff. We work directly with facility managers and care teams across Sydney to set up a visit schedule that suits your residents and your routine.
Who we work with
We provide podiatry to residential aged care homes, nursing homes, retirement villages and respite care services across Sydney. Whether you have a handful of residents needing care or a full facility schedule, we’ll set up visits to suit.
On site podiatry services for residents
Residents receive the same standard of care they would get in a clinic, without leaving the facility. That matters for residents with limited mobility, cognitive decline, or who find outings unsettling.
Our visits cover general nail and skin care, including thickened and fungal nails, corns and callus, alongside diabetic foot assessments and ongoing management. For residents at higher risk, we provide wound care and monitoring, footwear and pressure area assessments, and mobility and gait reviews where falls risk is a concern.
Every visit is documented, so your care team has an accurate, current picture of each resident’s foot health.
Why foot care matters in aged care
Foot problems in older people are easy to overlook and quick to escalate. Overgrown nails, poorly fitting footwear and reduced sensation can lead to pain, skin breakdown and infection, and they contribute to falls.
Regular podiatry helps residents stay comfortable and mobile, and gives care staff early warning when something changes. For residents with diabetes or poor circulation, routine checks are one of the simplest ways to catch problems before they become wounds.
Compliance & Documentation
Every visit is recorded against our standard clinical documentation, giving your facility a clear audit trail for accreditation and care plan reviews. We carry full professional indemnity and public liability insurance, and can provide certificates on request for your records.
When a resident’s condition changes or your facility refers a resident for podiatry care, we liaise directly with your care team to ensure timely assessment and follow-up.
Flexible Funding for Facilities and Residents
Private fee and bulk-billed Medicare-funded podiatry services are available, with treatment schedules tailored to each resident’s clinical requirements, and care provided at a frequency that suits both residents and the facility.
